After an hour of being in the ferry, we reached Sekupang Ferry Terminal. The resort driver picked us and up and in we reached the beautiful destination in less than 15 minutes.
E booked a 2 day 1 night stay at Tempat Senang, which is a much raved resort spa in Batam, Indonesia. There are only 7 suites in the resort and each suite is decorated according to the room name. There is the Bali Room, Sultan Room, Indian Room, Indonesian Room, Japanese Room, Thai Room and the Tree Room. Interesting eh?

The Surroundings of the Resort
Lounging around in the restaurant. Since there are only 7 suites in the resort, it also means it is not as crowded and we pretty much the villa to ourselves.

Choosing from the spa menu for our 3 hours session:
I had the pre-natal massage, hot stones massage and white lulur body scrub while E had the Balinese massage, hot stones massage and the ear candling session. After 3 hours of absolute bliss, our bodies felt relaxed and refreshed. Personally, I enjoyed the pre-natal massage alot as it helped to relieve some of my sores and muscle tension. Instead of lying facedown like the usual massages, I was asked to lie on my side and hug a bolster for support. My massue was really experienced and she knows where are some of my aching areas and trust me, my body haven’t felt so good in ages.

Our room comes complete with a small terrace, a living room, a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi and a rather stiff bed (-_-).

AMW Lunch at Negoya Shopping Centre, which is about 20 minutes away. Initially, E and I were quite excited to have our first AMW meal in years. However, our verdict is that, it is just disappointing, Either the standard that the Negoya Shopping Centre is lousy or AMW just lost it.
The shopping centre is really boring, with alot of shops selling fake luxury items (bags, wallets, sunglasses…). Yea, that’s about it. Shopping loot was just a tripod stand. some groceries and a few bottles of chewing gum. Sad much.

We returned to the resort after our 3 hours of “shopping”. It started to rain heavily and E and I had no choice but to stay indoors. We watched some DVDs that we borrowed from the front desk and munched on the snacks that we bought from the Hypermart earlier on.
Soon, it was dinner time! We ordered the popular Beer Canned Chicken and I specially got the kitchen to prepare a birthday cake for E. The cake tasted blah but I suppose it is the thought that matters eh! Happy Birthday Baby! Love you so much!
The Beer Canned Chicken Meal was awesome! The chicken was so juicy and tender! According to E, the kitchen staff will barbeque the chicken with an open can beer inside the chicken. The beer will slowly evaporate and hence making the chicken much more tender in the process.
